Please describe your role.
To head up the newly formed Contract channel, setting up and developing the supply and installation of kitchens and appliances to the housebuilder market.

Share a memorable moment from your career that has shaped who you are today?
Building and being part of a fantastic team during my 10-year tenure as MD of HDL. 

Interests

What's your favourite hobby or pastime outside of work?
Now playing football is no longer an option, hiking & cycling – in Cumbria if time allows.

What's one thing on your bucket list you hope to achieve this year?
I would like to get a 2026 cycling trip booked for Holland & Belgium.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
Chile & Argentina. Hiking in the Patagonian mountains and catch a game watching Boca Juniors at the Bombonera.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lebanese / Middle eastern cuisine. Quality ingredients cooked simply.

Share a fun fact about yourself that most people don't know.
I trained in the art of brewing beer and set up a micro-brewery!

What's the last book you read or movie you watched that left a lasting impression on you?
Can I have two books? Agent Zig-Zag about WW2 double agent Eddie Chapman & Shoe Dog, the story of the creation of the Nike brand and founder Phil Knight, both fascinating reads.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
Leonardo Da Vinci – imagine what he would be able to design & invent if he was around today...!

What's your favourite quote or mantra that inspires you?
Treat others in exactly the same way you would want to be treated yourself, with manners, respect & kindness.
